The University of Glasgow Innovation Network feeds cutting-edge expertise into industry, helping companies increase their global competitiveness through product development, feasibility studies and new technology licensing.
The University has a strong track record of working with business and industry, and has a wealth of knowledge, technology, equipment and services available to companies which can be tailored to meet the needs of an individual projects or organisation. With one of the largest research bases in the UK, the University of Glasgow has the research expertise to help a wide range of companies.
The University’s First Step Awards offer financial support of up to £5000 per project to help create long-term collaborations between small and medium-sized companies and the University’s academics and researchers. As a platform for long-term collaboration, these awards ensure Scotland’s excellent track record of innovation will continue into the future.
The University of Glasgow Innovation Network is funded by the Scottish Government’s SEEKIT project, the European Regional Development Fund and Scottish Enterprise.
